On April 12, the Federation of Youth Associations of Braga (FAJUB) successfully organized a multiplier event in Póvoa de Lanhoso as part of the ongoing Roadshow on the European Elections 2024.
This initiative, spearheaded by the Portuguese National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth and Sport and the European Solidarity Corps, aims to encourage active participation in the upcoming elections and promote European values among young people.
FAJUB took the opportunity to present its flagship project, PEDITORY, to an engaged audience of youth leaders, educators, and local stakeholders. The presentation highlighted the project’s key objectives and achievements, emphasizing its role in fostering civic engagement, youth participation, and awareness of European democratic processes.
The PEDITORY project, designed to equip young people with tools to better understand and engage with the European Union’s decision-making process, has already garnered attention for its innovative approach. During the event, FAJUB showcased the results of their work, including workshops, educational resources, and campaigns that have empowered participants to take active roles in their communities and in European politics.
The multiplier event in Póvoa de Lanhoso served as a platform for meaningful dialogue on the importance of voting in the European Elections, which will take place in 2024. By integrating the presentation of PEDITORY into the Roadshow, FAJUB demonstrated its commitment to building a more informed and participatory youth electorate.
Participants expressed enthusiasm for the project, noting its relevance in promoting awareness and active citizenship. This event marks a significant step in ensuring that young voices are heard in shaping the future of Europe.
